John Kroesser is a long time resident of the Borough having lived here for more than 25 years, John owns and operates an automotive repair service and towing company. He currently serves as a member of the Property and Equipment Committee, the Public Works Committee, and the Borough's Planning Commission. He and his wife Lorraine have 4 children, Michelle, John, Adrienne, and Mackenzie. John has been involved in the fabric of the community, coaching little league baseball, attending the American Legion annual Memorial Day Parade to support veterans and many civic Borough events. Mr. Kroesser understands government's role from a business owner's perspective. John is an example of a business owner willing to give back to his community.
Larry Stevens has been a Hatfield Borough resident since 1967 and was appointed to Borough Council in June 1992. He presently serves as Chairman of the Property & Equipment Committee and is a member of the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee and also the Public Safety Committee. Larry is also a member of the Borough Planning Commission and is Chairman and of the Hatfield Economic Revitalization Committee (HERC). Along with his duties as Executive Director of the Hatfield Chamber of Commerce, Larry is also co-founder & President of the Hatfield Museum & History Society, and a life member of the Hatfield Volunteer Fire Company. He and his wife Debbie have 2 daughters, Jen & Cristy and a grandson. The list of Larry's involvement in the community, are over shadowed by his personal commitment to the residents of Hatfield Borough. Larry & his wife Debbie spend countless hours volunteering with youth & senior groups in the area. Mr. Stevens is a prime example of a humble community advocate.
A lifelong resident of the Borough, John Weierman has served on Borough Council since 1994. John received his Bachelor of Science in Business from Wake Forest University and is currently employed in the commercial banking industry. He serves as Chairman of the Budget, Finance & Labor Committee, and also serves on the Utilities Committee. He and his wife Cindy have 2 children, Craig & Katie. John is actively involved in the Community as well, being a member of the Hatfield Chamber of Commerce, the Hatfield Museum and Historical Society (HMHS). Mr. Weierman is an active participant in many civic events taking time to support veterans and the annual Memorial Day Parade, visiting seniors delivering Poinsettias during the annual Chamber of Commerce Holiday event, attending monthly meetings of the HMHS. John is a former participant of the Hatfield Area Little League and has coached and served as President of the organization in the early 1990's. Mr. Weierman is a great example of a committed public servant.
A lifelong resident of the Borough, Bob has been active in civic affairs since early on. He is a life member of both the Hatfield Volunteer Fire Company and the Hatfield Chamber of Commerce, along with being a charter member of the Hatfield History Society. A graduate of the PA School of Banking and the American Institute of Banking, Bob is now retired from the banking industry and is presently a dispatcher for the Hatfield Township Police Department. He is also a U.S. Navy Veteran. An active member of Grace Lutheran Church, Bob and his wife Linda has 5 children, Jennifer, Amy, Christine, Robert IV, and Paul. They also have 13 grandchildren. You name it Mayor Kaler has touched it in the Borough of Hatfield. Mr. Kaler is a dedicated individual that makes you proud to be an American living in the Borough of Hatfield
Nancy has lived in the Borough for over 45 years and has been active in many civic organizations throughout her career. Nancy is a graduate of North Penn High School and Lansdale School of Business. Having been raised for service and community involvement she has spent over 20 years on the Hatfield Borough Zoning hearing board and served as president for numerous years. She was appointed to the Board of the Montgomery County Commission of Women and Families by the Montgomery County Commissioners for two consecutive 4 year terms and served as Treasurer in 2008. Nancy is a Charter Member of the Hatfield Museum and Historical Society and Hatfield Area Little League Woman's Auxiliary. Prior to her appointment as Tax Collector Nancy worked for over 15 years at the Montgomery County Courthouse in the Board of Assessment Appeals, the Montgomery County Commissioners Office and the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas as the Administrative Assistant to the late Honorable Toby Lynn Dickman. Nancy was appointed July 15, 2008 as Interim Tax Collector for Hatfield Borough and is a Pennsylvania State Qualified Tax Collector since 2009. She attends continuing education classes yearly to retain her qualified tax collector classification. She also is the Recording Secretary and member of the Montgomery County Tax Collectors Association since 2009, and of the Pennsylvania State Tax Collector Association. Nancy is dedicated to the community and wants to continue our history of economic stability with your support.
